Behavioural Performance: Aleah Ross BSc, Combined Biopsychology
The mental aspect of diet and habit changes are what hold most people back from fully achieving sustainability within their healthier lifestyle. Most people struggle with the mind more than the food.
This is why we have a pro on staff. Aleah leads 1 group coaching call every month for additional support.
Aleah has always had a passion for human and health behaviours.
She completed her BSc in Combined Biopsychology from the University of Victoria (B.C., CAN) in 2015 and is actively completing her MSc in Kinesiology with a concentration in behavioral medicine and health psychology.
With a host of interdisciplinary interests and experience in health promotion, she spent 10 years as a group fitness coach, as well as the past 7 years working as a trainee in research and clinical psychology.
Her health philosophy mixes biopsychosocial and systems theory approaches. This means she believes in the power of the individual to practice awareness and cultivate change for themselves, while also considering the macro level factors that impact health behavior change.
Aleah is a strong and compassionate listener who is devoted to improving the physical and mental performance of people and communities.
